ABSOLUTE Search is the Search arm of LAW Absolute specialising in senior Legal and Company Secretarial Appointments. Set up in 2003, we have been recruiting exclusively within the Legal and Company Secretarial space for over a decade and our understanding of the market and network of contacts is exceptional.
In an age of progressively stringent regulation and governance combined with significantly greater accountability placed on Boards it is now widely recognised that the roles of the General Counsel and Company Secretary can shape an organisation. Interim Executive Appointments
An increasing number of people are choosing portfolio work over traditional permanent roles. These high achieving individuals enjoy the breadth and diversity of the work on offer and for businesses they provide invaluable and often unparalled experience gained over years working within senior management positions.

- An initial consultation with our client to discuss key criteria, attractions and challenges of the role
- Advising on and devising the job specification and consulting on appropriate remuneration packages
- Mapping the market and identifying prospects
- Meeting with potential candidates on multiple occasions
- Meeting with the client to present our shortlist
- Scheduling of interviews and management of the feedback and offer
- Ensuring regular contact during notice period and start of placement

Sarah is one of the Founding Directors of LAW Absolute.
After spending over a decade with two global recruitment companies, establishing and running their legal interim businesses, she launched LAW Absolute in 2003 with Victoria Wright and Antonia Klein.
Initially set up to specialise in interim legal recruitment, its specialisation enabled LAW Absolute to become the market leader in this field.
Having firmly established itself in the legal field. Sarah was instrumental in helping the business diversify in to permanent recruitment, and latterly has set up Absolute Search for the business as well as Board Appointments and Executive Search.
Sarah’s vision was to create a truly specialist legal recruitment business which would provide the most efficient, reliable and effective service in the industry. Her strategy and approach has always been focussed around attracting the most talented consultants in the market and to offer the best training, development and working environment in order to retain them.
